IB History
Tips and Tricks
-
In order to save time when reviewing, record yourself reading the chapters. It is a pain, but you'll be thankful later.
-
You can normally put off note taking until the weekend before, but be sure to give yourself plenty of time.
-
If you haven't read for the discussion, most sections have a helpful summary at the end. You can use this to get a general enough idea about the section to help you skim for information and generate questions.
-
Be patient with his class. Due to the nature of the content and the overall size of the class, it can take some time for grades to be put out.
-
Start on the IA for this class as soon as possible. It's always better to get a head start on it so you don't get overwhelmed.

-
You can do the IB History IA so much quicker than you think. You'll end up realizing this when you put all your work on the last weekend and somehow, manage to get it done. Instead of waiting and doing that in the spring before the deadline, get it done by the end of winter break.

-
The history term ID tests are only a matter of knowing how to follow a format. If you're having trouble, ask Blaze for help. If you don't understand what you did wrong, ask her. She can help you, but you have to ask for it.
